This Work Is Not My Own
2019 - 2023 (ongoing), research, digital collage
.
Each collage is an act of techno-/self-destruction and metamorphosis; a place space;
a patchwork of dissolved digital artefacts - art, photographs, 3D renderings, and digital
glitches. The original artworks and found ephemera are methodically dissected down to
forms and textures and reconstructed to investigate aesthetic essence and intrinsic
collaboration. The series serves as a mirror reflecting the evolving dynamics between
creator and creation, challenging perceptions of authorship and perceived lines around
ownership, ultimately contemplating the transformative potential of transtemporal
collaboration between humans and emerging technologies.
